Annmarie Ekey, President and Principal Consultant of Coach To Capacity Inc. is a dynamic leader with expertise in change and leadership, emotional intelligence, and education. As an urban district leader with over 20 years in education, Annmarie has extensive experience in leadership coaching, change style, and strategic planning. During her career, Annmarie collaborated with senior leadership and district offices to support the needs of diverse schools and communities, with expertise in organizational change and school turnaround. She began her career as an elementary school teacher and then moved to school and district-level leadership positions in urban schools.

Annmarie demonstrates expertise in complex systems, change management, leadership theory, and strategic planning, with a primary area of expertise in the practice of self-awareness and self-management, leading to greater communication,
decision-making, stress management, and organizational performance. Among the tools and approaches in which Annmarie specializes are EQ-i2.0 (Emotional Intelligence), Change Navigator, and Change Style assessments. Annmarie is active in multiple professional associations and has presented at conferences on change leadership and emotional intelligence.

Annmarie has a Bachelor of Science in Technology Systems from Pace University, a Master of Science in Teaching from Fordham University, a Master of Arts from George Washington University, and currently is a doctoral candidate at Franklin University. Annmarie was honored to receive the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award in 2019 from The George Washington University, Graduate School of Education and serves on the Graduate School of Education Dean's Committee. Annmarie holds licensure credentials in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Connecticut. Additionally, Annmarie holds certifications as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation and is a certified practitioner of the EQ-i2.0, Change Navigator, and Change Style Indicator with Multi-Health Systems.
